Goodbye 2015

My darlings,

We are wrapping up one more year. A lot happened this year, I learned a lot, I’ve grown a lot. There are many people and things I’m grateful for, I think that’s the most important thing to think about when you say good bye to the passing year. The blog developed in a wonderful direction, with plenty new collaborations and challenges, fun photo shoots, panel discussions, endless caffeinated talks about blogging and fashion, projects and most of all: smiles. I want to give my thanks to all of you for reading the blog and to all the wonderful people who I collaborated with and who made my life more colourful and enjoyable.

I can only hope and wish you all have a better year in 2016, that you embrace what makes you happy and do it, that you ask for a lot and give a lot more. Tonight put a dazzling smile on your face and welcome a new exciting year.

Happy New Year!

When things work, do change them. But don’t replace them. Upgrade them, make them better, push the boundaries. When it comes to fashion, finding people who share your passion for impeccable style is a precious moment. Together you put fashion into perspective, you give it context, you make a dialogue. And that’s what style is actually all about. So be bold, take a step further, dandy up!

Time to be a Woman.

, , ,

“I know who I am. I am not perfect. I’m not the most beautiful woman in the world. But I’m one of them.” ~ Mary J. Blige

Every woman I’ve ever met helped me be the woman I am today. I remember being 18 and my cousin told me that the best time in a woman’s life begins in her 30’s. And she was right. Now at 31 I am happy with the woman that I am and with the women I have the privilege of knowing. All of their stories, their beauty, their strength and energy fill my life and make me a better woman. My time is now and now is a wonderful time to be a woman.

Here we are in the fourth round of the blogger challenge with Skopje Casual and My: Time. I am so happy and grateful to all of you for your support and kind words. For the next round in this challenge I reached to one of the most powerful sources of strength in my life, the women who make me who I am. They helped me follow my dreams, fight my fears and find my style. Fashion is a great part of my life and I do believe you can dress for the part you want to play in life. I find great confidence in the way I present myself and I love putting on an outfit that will make me feel equally feminine and fierce. That is why I chose to collaborate with Tanja Kokev for this round of the challenge, because she is one of the Macedonian designers who create with the feminine working woman in  mind. The Fossil wristwatch we got to present in this round,FOSSIL – AM4483 CECILE fits in perfectly with this image of an elegant and modern working woman. These pieces from Kokev’s first pret-a-porter collection were a match made in heaven with this elegant timepiece and I felt every bit a woman doing this photoshoot. Monika Mulichkovska managed to capture that joy in these photos and we hope you like them and that you vote us into the next and final round.

Time to Bloom.

“Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.” ~ Erich Fromm

You can never guess when is you time to bloom. But when it comes, embrace that creative force, open like a flower to the world and let it see you in all your colours. Believe in your beauty and your uniqueness, never compare yourself to others, every flower is beautiful in its own way. Creative people are dreamers, they push the boundaries, they are daring and they make changes. This is my time to bloom and I embrace my colours.

Well my darlings, look how far we got! Thank you for voting for me in the Blogger Challenge organized by Skopje Casual and My:Time, I am off to the third round 🙂 I also want to thank my blogger colleagues who show incredible creativity in this challenge and inspire me to push my limits. On the topic of creativity, together with my photographer in the challenge Monika we decided to make something unusual for the next round and showcase this beautiful Fossil watch in a different light. She let her magic work and this is our blooming result. Hope you like it and that you will vote for us.

Time to Hope.

“To live without Hope is to cease to live.” ~ Fyodor Dostoevsky

Vezilka Zimski My time 1

Moving forward. Striving for more. Reaching for the stars. That what my generation always hoped for. We believed in ourselves, always pushed each other to be better, to do better. Hope was our driving force. Still is. Not only to be the best at what we do, but to be the best version of ourselves. We still hope. Hope that the world is not just black and white and that we have yet to find all the shades and colours in between.

The Bloggers Challenge we started with Skopje Casual and My:Time continues to the next round. Thank you all for voting for me so far and keep that positive energy coming. You can vote for me to be the next face of FOSSIL watches HERE. The theme of the second post in this challenge is Hope, the driving force in my life. For this blog post I invited a dear friend of mine and a fellow poet, Bozidar Zimski, to join me in front of the camera. We belong to the same generation of hope I wrote about earlier. In good times and bad we always had each other’s back and kept the hope alive in our poetry. And we’re still standing strong. If you ask our generation what is the Time to Hope? the answer is: Every minute of every day.

Time To Dream.

, , , , , , , , , ,

“All that we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream.” ~Edgar Allan Poe

Vezilka My time MainThere is time for everything. This is my time to dream. Immersed in the wonderland of the written word I get lost and I find myself over and over again. And the dream continues even when I close the book. Reading is my dreaming, my personal escape, my time.

This post is the first (of many I hope) that will be a part of the Blogger’s Challenge organized by Skopje Casual and My: Time. Each fashion blogger has her chance to tell a fashion story woven around this beautiful Fossil timepiece. Starting from today the public can vote on our posts that are officially pinned at Skopje Casual’s website HERE. My photostory is about the magic of books and how much it means to me to have that “me time” when I can enjoy different worlds and escape reality, even for a while. Photographer Monika Mulichovska did an amazing job capturing my imagined wonderland. Don’t you agree?

#FWSK 12 Day 4

, , , , , , ,

The 12. FWSK officially wrapped up a few days ago and here is my last post of the biggest fashion event in Macedonia. The excitement was high and we all had mixed feelings of sweet tiredness and wishing it would last a bit longer. This Fashion Weekend was hands down one of my favorite ones so far. The Museum of Macedonia was the perfect backdrop for all the amazing shows we saw, and the interaction between the designer, fashion bloggers, models, sponsors and FWSK organizers at its highest level so far. The blogging community is getting bigger and stronger each season and that makes me very happy and confident that the best is yet to come. Stay tuned at to read my posts on the FWSK style. The looks in the audience also improved greatly and we saw less kitsch and more unique and laid back style. The last night of runway shows started with the Russian label N by Z who presented calm, feminine pieces with soft fabrics and intriguing finishes, and the honor to close FWSK was once again bestowed to Olgica Gjorgieva who showcased an elegant, wearable fall/winter line rich in colour and textures and with sleek silhouettes most of us coveted with a sigh.

For closing night I decided to play on the boys’ team and borrowed pieces from their department. These are literally my boyfriend’s jeans (from OVS where he always shops for jeans) that I had altered a little bit in length and to add to the boys’ appeal I paired them with a men wristwatch and leather bracelet from the Fossil line (available at My:Time). I love playing with sizes and shapes, so I added an oversize vintage harringbone coat, a neutral Terranova blouse and Chelsea boots with a chunky heel. You already know the purse that I can’t stop wearing and its actually a case for vintage camera. On the first two photos you can see my favorite FWSK partying team: Jana and Sara. Love these girls!

#FWSK 12: Day 3

If there is one show I can’t wait to see every FWSK it’s Irina Tosheva‘s. I know she will surprise me every time and she always does. And we danced, we giggled, we wanted to have everything from the runway in our closets ASAP. Once again she made a superb line that embodies her cheerful spirit and her impeccable designing skills. All that packed in a story where artist Vane Kosturanov “borrows” his Love Street for the print designs and Nokaut sing their hearts off while the models have the time of their life on the runway. The designs are youthful, playful, bold and huggable, everything you need for the cold season ahead. I must admit I always cry tears of joy at the end of Irina’s shows like a proud big sister, because that’s what she does, she makes fashion for the soul.

IMG_2822 IMG_2848 IMG_2866 IMG_2871 IMG_2879 IMG_2891 IMG_2899 IMG_2915 IMG_2977

On the same evening I was thrilled to see the comeback show by Robert Ivanovski who presented a spring-summer 2016 line. I always admire his work and he didn’t disappoint me with this line. Modern, artful and sexy, the line was an equal dose of Robert’s core unapologetic design and his emotional creative energy that we have yet to see. Read my full reviews at

IMG_2982 IMG_3020 IMG_3022 IMG_3028 IMG_3033

Of course, I was honored to pay homage to one of my favorite Macedonian designers, so I wore a piece from Irina’s Messier 45 collection she made in collaboration with artist and jewelry designer Nina Simovska. The dress simply wraps around the body and makes you feel like a goddess. Because the piece is very striking on its own with the strategically revealing design and the intricate beading around the neck ,I paired it with subtle accessories: a scarf and shoes in nude shades, a leather two tone Carpisa clutch and an elegant Fossil watch with a nude leather strap (available at My:Time).

#FWSK Day 2

I just love Fashion Weekend Skopje! The shows, the lights, the smiles, the sighs, the chatter…  Speaking of sighs, there were lots of them on the second evening of FWSK when Jovana Filipovic presented her AW 2015/16 collection. I would wear every single one of the pieces, especially the coats. Her sophistication, subtle sex appeal and inspiring minimalism had me under a spell. I can’t wait to see the collection again and try on some of the pieces in her cozy atelier.

IMG_2415 IMG_2482 IMG_2505 IMG_2521

On the same evening we also saw the new line by Elena Spasovska who paid a stylish respect to the working women in the textile industry, and Venera Mustafa from Kosovo who for the first time ever presented an ethereal dual line for the Macedonian fashion audience. You can read my full reviews on the shows at

IMG_2651 IMG_2723

The whole FWSK vibe had me in the mood, so I decided to play around with my look and give a chance to wearing lingerie as nightwear. I paired this amazing silk and lace corset with dark jeans and my favorite blazer from Irina Tosheva‘s Memento Mori collection. This perfectly tailored blazer is one of the best pieces I’ve ever bought and I wear it with almost every style. The silver rings by Skagen and the minimalist black wristwatch from the La Passion line by Jacques Lemans (both available at My:Time) perfectly complemented the look. Your thoughts on my outfit are more than welcomed. Stay tuned for more FWSK posts!

FWSK 12: Day 1

, , , , , , , , , , , ,

The Museum of Skopje was sparkling with the runway show by the young designer Igor Markov who opened the shows for 12. Fashion Weekend Skopje.

The audience was eager to see the show that was a tad unfashionably late, but was worth waiting for when we saw the first piece going down the runway. Markov’s Prêt-à-porter féminin de luxe collection for 2016 consists of 23 unique looks for the glamorous, confident woman who is aware of her sex appeal and glows without inhibitions with her attitude. Sparkling mini cocktail dresses and feminine tuxedos with unusual cuts in the back made us sigh, and so did the boldly cut corsets. High slits and deep V-necks were boldly balanced with voluminous tailoring, giving additional extravagance to the pieces. Sensuality is Markov’s trademark in he showed a conceptually well rounded collection as well as perfect craftsmanship.

IMG_2096 IMG_2101 IMG_2111 IMG_2119 IMG_2139 IMG_2150 IMG_2203 IMG_2221 IMG_2225 IMG_2267 IMG_2287 IMG_2290 IMG_2301 IMG_2323 IMG_2328

For my outfit for the evening, I opted for a late 80’s/early 90’s inspired look: vintage high waist pepito pattern pants, Calliope lace turtle neck blouse, vintage tartan cape, black Chelsea boots, vintage camera case worn as a purse, and a beautiful black and gold Fossil wristwatch (available at My:Time). Erina  Bogoeva and Gorgi Despodov, two very talented Macedonian photographers, indulged me with photos from the runway and of my outfit. You can see more photos and read my full review on the show at (Macedonian version only).
