If there is one show I can’t wait to see every FWSK it’s Irina Tosheva‘s. I know she will surprise me every time and she always does. And we danced, we giggled, we wanted to have everything from the runway in our closets ASAP. Once again she made a superb line that embodies her cheerful spirit and her impeccable designing skills. All that packed in a story where artist Vane Kosturanov “borrows” his Love Street for the print designs and Nokaut sing their hearts off while the models have the time of their life on the runway. The designs are youthful, playful, bold and huggable, everything you need for the cold season ahead. I must admit I always cry tears of joy at the end of Irina’s shows like a proud big sister, because that’s what she does, she makes fashion for the soul.
On the same evening I was thrilled to see the comeback show by Robert Ivanovski who presented a spring-summer 2016 line. I always admire his work and he didn’t disappoint me with this line. Modern, artful and sexy, the line was an equal dose of Robert’s core unapologetic design and his emotional creative energy that we have yet to see. Read my full reviews at Pixel.mk.
Of course, I was honored to pay homage to one of my favorite Macedonian designers, so I wore a piece from Irina’s Messier 45 collection she made in collaboration with artist and jewelry designer Nina Simovska. The dress simply wraps around the body and makes you feel like a goddess. Because the piece is very striking on its own with the strategically revealing design and the intricate beading around the neck ,I paired it with subtle accessories: a scarf and shoes in nude shades, a leather two tone Carpisa clutch and an elegant Fossil watch with a nude leather strap (available at My:Time).
