Floral shirts seem to have 1000 lives. My generation remembers our mothers wearing them in the 80’s and the 90’s in a bit larger sizes and with shoulder pads, but this season the floral shirts are revived in better cuts and light and smooth fabrics like cotton, batiste, grenadine, georgette. What I love about them is the retro vibe and the playfulness.
They are perfect for a feminine and yet office-friendly look as well as a night out or a dinner party, easy to match with all skirt models, especially knee-length, shorts, jeans and pants. This is my choice of floral shirts for this summer (and bring them along in autumn, too with a nice blazer or a jacket!)
